Completely agree. I hate the writers. I hate Kudos. I won't be buying the dvd. That was shit. Won't be back.

RE: Series 10 - Episode 6 Discussion
I'm in a state of shock. Bitterly disappointed by the end, feel really sad that Ruth (my favourite character of all) should be killed in the closing minutes, especially when she and Harry seemed to have finally overcome all the barriers between them. To say it was cruel is an understatement. I really never saw this coming, especially given some comments made by Nicola Walker and then this 'EndingHappy' person who joined the forum in the last day or so... my god, if he thinks this was a happy ending than heaven forbid if we'd had a sad one.

Can't go on, must go on

What an amazing last episode! I was in tears at Harry and Ruth's final scene. Ruth talking about the lies they tell and how it buries a little bit of their true selves was such beautiful writing. Ruth dying had me welling up! And Harry trying his best to move on from it all but ultimately returning to the job because he had nowhere else to turn was such a perfect ending. In a way, I really wanted Harry and Ruth to have their happy ending... but I think it was the right decision to kill Ruth off. It gave us some moving final scenes and it was heartbreaking and kept to what we expect from Spooks... if they had lived happily ever after, it would have been too cheesy and wouldn't have been as effective.

I loved Tom's little appearance and the memorial wall was a really nice touch. I always thought Elena was behind it all and was the true villain... but it was still brilliant! I'm REALLY going to miss Spooks so so much!

The memorial was the most touching scene in the entire episode for me! It was sad to see everyone that had been lost ove the course of spooks.

On the plus side; Hello Tom!! We've missed you!!!
Long Live Spooks!

Agreed totally!!

Also I've no idea what the relevance of having Tom make a reappearance was (or why that was necessary), frankly I couldn't really care less at the moment though either.

Ah. Really not the ending I was looking for at all. In fact, I might just pretend the last 15 minutes never happened. Kudos just couldn't give us a happy ending could they? I know 'that's not what Spooks is about' and all, but it's the end so I don't care. I am totally devastated.

Goodbye Spooks, it's been a hell of a decade.

No words really. It could have worked. A happy ending.

I will never get over the fact Harry Pearce is left to spend the rest of his life alone. He never did catch "that break."

I should stop writing now as I will say something I may regret in a day or two. At this moment though, being a fan of ten years, I feel let down by the ending. IMO it was not the right ending. Not at all.

I'm to shocked to say anything, knew harry or ruth would die (Kudos dont do happy endings) but that was heartbreaking. Not sure if I liked it or not, will have to watch again to decide.

On the other hand Peter Firth and Nicola Walker were phenominal in this episode.

Thud
