S10 Region 1 DVD
Just informed by BBC Canada that S10 R1 is on pre-order for a March 6th release: http://www.bbcamericashop.com/dvd/mi-5-v...16434.html

Nothing on Amazon yet.

At this point, although the BBC Canada blurb mentions the extras, I am not sure I believe that. Additionally, it is listed on a few other sites (including BBC America and on nicola-walker.com) as being 2 disks and 360 minutes long. Which implies to me that the region 1 DVD will not include the featurettes, only the actual episodes. Still hoping for the audio-commentaries.

Ruth RE: S10 Region 1 DVD
Glad to hear that the Reg. 1 discs will have those extras. I've got 1, 3, 4, 5, 8, and 9, and S2 should be arriving any day (all region 2.) I haven't pulled the trigger on S10 since it's still new and more expensive, whereas I've gotten each of the others for about $15 each, including shipping from the UK. I've just started re-watching S9, so my desire to purchase S10 may ramp up sooner rather than later.

RE: S10 Region 1 DVD
I'll confirm for sure when I receive mine. It would be nice to have the featurettes but I'd buy S10 anyway and don't have an all region player.

I am still waiting for a response from these other friends that they do really have Region 1 DVD's. They have said they do in the past.

I have all but S6 at the moment because it isn't really my favorite series so I'll buy it last. However, I don't mind paying full price. I just consider it my donation to the Kudos cause to continue to make good programming. They are certainly much cheaper than they were 2-3 years ago, when they were going for at least $40 if not more.

That's great AC. Do you get the commentaries as well then? I haven't listened to those yet myself. Undecided

Sadly (or not, depending on your POV) the audio-commentareis are not included. While I am thankful for small favors, audio-commentaries are my favorite b/c they give you more info re: the nitty-gritty of filming and production. If anyone who feels it in the goodness of their heart to point me in the direction of a transcription, I would be most appreciative. Big Grin
