RE: series 8 starts in november and runs to december
On the Spooks facebook group someone on there says they saw Peter Firth in Shepherds Bush and spoke to him. Apparantly this is from the Main man himself that Spooks S8 airs from 19th October.

Don't know how true this story is but hopefully it is.

I don't think this can be true. A new David Attenborough nature programme starts at 9pm on Monday 12th for 10 weeks so unless the BBC reschedule this programme after a fortnight I don't think Spooks will be on a Monday night. My guess is it'll be a Thursday but who knows.

RE: series 8 starts in november and runs to december
It very much looks like Thursday 29th for the start of S8.

The new Radio Times has an advert for the the next week's RT stating:-[/u]

"Spooks; the spy drama is back on the Grid"

That RT lists programmes for 24th October week - so it really looks good for Thursday 29th!!
Monday = New David Attenborough's "Life"
Tuesday = New Around the World in 80 days [ep 2]
Wednesday = up against footie on ITV
Thursday = repeat series of New Tricks.
Friday = New series of HIGNFY and Armstrong and Miller.

Ah, good, finally the end of this interminable wait for season 8 is in sight.

Tea Lady, you'll have to learn half an hour faster from now on so you can leave your class early. Wink

Yay!!!! The one week my mum doesn't buy the radio times though... Sad

DANNY - Placements all over the shop. Back up vehicles, chopper support if we need it. Bomb disposal with a signal jammer for Mary’s trademark remote control blasts. And Tom here’s doing the catering. Mate. You are so covered.

Its okay, there's nothing in the Radio Times except a small picture at the very back under the 'next week' section. Next week is when I'll be buying up all the tv magazines to check out the articles.
