At least the producers didnot fall in the trap of using popular music (I would not consider Verdi as such), as many other shows did...
It was invented by "Homicide" in its season 3, but really has been overdone since...

Has anyone got a list of the music that Harry Listens to, and I do seem to remember Hugh Laurie being an opera buff in a previous series.

Harry is listening to Verdi's Nabucco when SF burst through the windows.
Jools Sivitar was at a Wagner concert when he had to exit to meet Harry and Tom. Jools is a Wagner fan it would appear, as he's crying at some point.

It figures that Harry would listen to Verdi and Hugh Laurie (Jools Sivitar - Thanks Ronin) would be listening to Wagner, round about sums up Jools Sivitars character If I remember correctly.

Yeah, Jools is complaining about the performance of Wagner's he just witnessed. I must be an opera from the Ring cycle as he complains about the Valkyries wearing scuba outfits, or something!

Can't find the 2nd soundtrack anywhere except itunes which is a bit expensive for me at the moment...
