RE: What music are you into?
I absolutely love 'The Dream of a Normal Death' and 'This is Gallifrey: Our Childhood, Our Home'. Am listening to them both on a loop at the moment Tongue

I once made an advertisement video for a Doctor Who livejournal group that I was co-creator of using This is Gallifrey, I think. Murray Gold = amazing composer.

DANNY - Placements all over the shop. Back up vehicles, chopper support if we need it. Bomb disposal with a signal jammer for Mary’s trademark remote control blasts. And Tom here’s doing the catering. Mate. You are so covered.

A friend on twitter starts blubbing every time she hears the music from Tennant's last episode - I think it's called Perfect Ten or something?

2 bands from the Philippines that I would recommend to everyone : Urbandub and Updharmadown.

random stuff I'm listening to right now:
The Receiving Ends of Sirens, Mr.Bungle, Explosions in the Sky(instrumental), Phoenix(just started listening to them), Miasma and the Carousel of Headless Horses(instrumental) and John Legend.

Phoenix is fun. Something about French pop is so quaint, I find.

LOVE Nick Cave! I've been to many memorable live shows of his, always brilliant. I didn't know Ed Kuepper had joined the band, that should be pretty interesting, can't wait to hear what happens there.

My music tastes are pretty varied but I'm a rock chick at heart. Thin Lizzy, Neil Young, Pixies, The Clash, Black Sabbath, The Beatles, Oils, Living Colour, Babes In Toyland... plus heaps of old school stuff like The Wipers, The Slits, Black Flag, Wire, Buzzcocks, PiL, X-Ray Spex.. I also love Frank Sinatra too, I could go on forever!

Can't stand Frank Sinatra but you're forgiven for knowing who Kuepper is! I love the Seeds, they're one of my favourite, favourite bands ever. Their last few albums in particular are incredible, especially given how often they put new albums out. It was great to see them get their rock chops back last year, much as I love the balladeering releases of this last decade. Ed I have seen solo many times. Fantastic songwriter too and I'm excited to see what the new look Seeds come up with.

Also love Midnight Oil, although I don't know how much traction that will get on here Smile 10-1 is an album that is older than me, but still sounds amazing and very topical.

Nice to have someone to bond over Aussie music with! There are a few of us on here, but they float in and out mostly and don't always post.

Sure I know who Kuepper is - I'm a child of the 90s! I have a few of his albums but can't say that I'm a Kuepper connoisseur. I've had trouble keeping up with ole Nick the past few years - that man is a machine!

10-1 is older than you? I'm slightly older than that one. Loving Midnight Oil gets you a lot of traction with me. They're one of my enduring favourites. 10-1 and Red Sails are my fav Oils records.

Perhaps the Aussies will come out the woodwork when season 8 hits the screens.
