Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

Here are the changes that were made to Spooks Forum during the recent maintenance period:

Added the "Become a Spook" link.
Added the "Shop" link.
Added ads for guests (top of the forum and after the first post of every thread)
Added ads for normal members (top of the forum)
Added "New Posts" and "No New Posts" indicators next to each forum on the index page.
Amended rules 12 & 13: http://www.spooksforum.co.uk/thread-2.html

IF YOU ENCOUNTER PROBLEMS WITH ANY OF THESE CHANGES, INCLUDING THE PROCESS FOR SUBSCRIBING PLEASE PM ME IMMEDIATELY!!

Question re DVDs sold in the Shop -- are they region-specific or will Amazon send the appropriate set for the region shipped to?

I cannot give you a conclusive answer. Amazon isn't very helpful on this matter.

But my answer is "I doubt it".

If you look at the product details within the Spooks Forum store, it says PAL which suggests region 2.

Btw, lwhite did you receive a PM when you subscribed earlier?

I just checked my Paypal history -- shows the subscription as "completed." First time I've used Paypal -- what should happen?

You should either be taken to somekind of confirmation page, or back to the index page here.

You should also receive a PM and be automatically moved to the "Spooks" user group.

I assume you created a Paypal account before/during subscribing?

I created a Paypal account when you first posted about the coming changes. When I finished subscribing, I was returned to Spooks Forum. No PM or move to Spooks "user group." Should I try logging out of forum and then back in?

Ok, the script isn't working 100%. This is so annoying.

For now I have removed the ability to subscribe until the issue is resolved.

For members who have already subscribed:

I will manually move you to the Spooks group.
Your subscription will remain active.

Got an e-mail from Amazon UK and your hunch was correct, Nitrus. DVDs will be PAL (region 2) unless specifically noted otherwise in the item info.
