RE: Episode 4 Discussion
I thought so too. And if he is still alive, I think he's doing very little controlling from where he is.

Also, Darshavin tells Lucas at the end of the ep not to trust anyone -- he can certainly be talking about Sarah, at that point.

It seems like he still wants to control Lucas.....

I think that by the end of the ep, Darshavin knew he wasn't going to live much longer, given that he was handed back to the FSB, and he was actually trying to help Lucas.

So why not just say, "since I am about to die, look out for sarah?"

Plus he was FSB, he speaks in oblique sentences. Plus we didn't know about her at that point. It was yet to be revealed.

RE: Episode 4 Discussion
No doubt he suspected that Lucas already did not trust Sarah although he cared for her. I'm guessing that
Spoiler: show
whoever set up the home secretary for replacement
also made the decision to not follow through on the agreement with Darshavin (sp?)

Either he knew too much to be released into his new life or he is a part of the group and was trying to set up another good guy, like Harry (if he isn't part of Nightingale.)

Rooftop scene:
Beth and Dmitri sneak up and disarm Lucas, cuff him and lead him away.
Lucas screams, "No Harry please, I'd rather die!"

Harry: "We're sending you to rehab ................. in Texas."

I'd like to see more of Oleg even though I know he's most likely dead. That was good stuff with Lucas and Oleg

RE: Episode 4 Discussion
Yes, they had an interesting relationship. I think Oleg truly believed that he had taken care of Lucas and kept him alive and that Lucas owed him a debt of gratitude. Oleg was really shocked when Lucas told Oleg he had destroyed him (Lucas) -- the look on O's face was like he had just been punched in the stomach and had the wind knocked out of him. It was as if he felt that Lucas had betrayed him.

RE: Episode 4 Discussion
I think Oleg genuinely cared for Lucas, which is why he warned Lucas about the meeting in Basel. It was Lucas who saw their relationship for what it really was. After all Oleg sent Yellow Tulips (meaning hopeless love - significant?) to Lucas, rather an odd way to invite him to a meeting. And Lucas was adamant that he was not suffering from Stockholm Syndrome when Harry questioned him. I think it was Lucas who gave Oleg back to the FSB because he hated him and wanted him to suffer the way Oleg had made Lucas suffer, and Harry would also be glad to get him as far away from Lucas as possible.

Lucas 8.4: It's all about trust, isn't Harry ?.

I didn't know that meaning. Perhaps then it was an advance warning about Sarah.

RE: Episode 4 Discussion
I was amused to see RA ensure the sheet was covering his backside when he rolls over onto Sarah during their scene at the start - yet he's happy to take everything off later on in the famous "Boiler Suit" scene!
