Episode 5 Discussion

RE: Episode 5 Discussion
In comparing Coleville to Othello, I merely meant to imply that he was a good man gone bad due to love, although he probably had more reason to be pissed off than Othello. I liked that Boxer could play both the strengths and weaknesses of one of the more interesting villains that show has had.

And no, I know what "I have a headache means". And so does Sarah, although for her it may have been a little more serious.

Why are you on this thread then? But well done for having the self-control - mine failed spectacularly after the first episode Tongue

DANNY - Placements all over the shop. Back up vehicles, chopper support if we need it. Bomb disposal with a signal jammer for Mary’s trademark remote control blasts. And Tom here’s doing the catering. Mate. You are so covered.

You're in for a good episode - make sure there's space behind the sofa for you to crawl behind Tongue

Sorry to tempt you but I have to say that the youtube version of the ep is really high quality actually Tongue
Haha that's actually quite evil of me Tongue I hope you ignore me and stick to your resolve Big Grin

Death by mascara. It was horrible to watch. Ruth's agonizing over the fact that there are no more horses in modern-day warfare and Adam's on a course learning how to lift his knuckles off the ground. So, you'll have to make do with me, I'm afraid.

Why didn't Lucas question why Christine 2.0 was at the TV studio when Maynard was shot? I mean, he did tell her that they were worried that Coleville was after Maynard but neither he nor the rest of the team ever asked why she was there?

Because by doing so he would have tipped her off that they were at least curious about her actions, if not downright suspicious. This way they have a chance at following her, tapping her phone et cetera....and actually cracking Nightingale. Not that they know exactly what it is yet, and neither do we, of course!

At that point in the ep, though, they weren't suspicious of her yet. Had it been me, the fact that she was at the TV studio at all would have made me VERY suspicious right then. How did she even know where Maynard would be? We (the audience) know she's getting help from some unidentified voice on the phone. The MI5 crew don't know that yet.
