RE: Peter Firth
That is so cool Picard1109. I imagine Peter to be a little bit of a flirt so I am not surprised about your comments re the production assistant. Bless.

Just in case we cant tell from the photos later, what did Peter look like then? Was his hair the same as in series 8 or shorter, longer? What was he wearing? I am sure JHyde will be interested to know what coat he had on as well. Smile Smile

RE: Peter Firth
Hi...actually, I think he's a LOT of a flirt!

What he looked like... hair was longer (could see the slight curl at the back). Dark suit; white shirt; dark wool coat (his usual dark coat), blue/grey tie, black shoes. I'll see how good the images are and see whether I can crop to a close up.

Between takes, the young production assistant either held an umbrella over him, or he had a big padded parka on.

Wow. Cant wait to see the photos now. I wonder why he is wearing his hair longer then in this series?? I have seen photos of Peter with longer hair when not filming but he usually has it cut much shorter for when filming starts.

RE: Peter Firth
JHyde is interested in almost all things Peter Firth-ish/Harry-ish. And yes, his choice of coat for season 8 (or what is chosen for him) is one of those many things.

Many thanks to Tyger for a terrific signature

RE: Peter Firth
So, 6 hours later, I've still got an adrenalin rush...just had to have a large Jack Daniels to calm my nerves...may have to have another.

An aside: one of the people I work with was cycling by and stopped right in front of where Peter et al were getting ready to do a take, looked round and cycled off. She didn't see me (I was standing under a bus shelter out of the rain). I emailed her later to ask whether she realised what she'd seen. She hadn't...thought it was a politician being interviewed for the election!!! When I told her, she was devastated!

Anyway, more on what I saw... It was cold and drizzling with rain, so PF was under and umbrella and/or wearing a thick parka over his Harry clothes. He seemed to be fairly jovial, despite the cold - smiling and laughing with the crew (particularly the pretty young women...). Saw him put his arm round the young, blond production assistant and kiss her on the side of the head...and no, I don't think he was just being fatherly or big-brotherly!!! Good for her!

What was really interesting was watching PF 'morph' from Peter to Harry. One second, he was laughing, smiling Peter...then his face 'shifted' into Harry. It was quite amazing to watch.

The photos aren't brilliant quality, I'm afraid - wretched camera phone, and it was quite dark because of the rain. I've had to brighten the images, which detracts from the quality. Still, hopefully you'll see what he was wearing and his hair, etc.

More photos are on the Season 9 location thread. If you want the whole set of pictures, message me with your email address.

Great photos picard1109. Thanks. Can totally understand why your friend is devastated, I would be too.

RE: Peter Firth
I've put more photos on my Facebook page. Search for "Lou Rossati".

If you want to see them, 'friend' me and send a message just saying "Peter Firth is the greatest thing since sliced bread" or words to that effect, so I know you're a 'friendly' not some random person.

I shan't be offended if you link, copy off the photos and un-link...most of my FB-related stuff is political and if you don't like politics (or are a different political 'colour') you may not want to stay 'friends'.
