Ros and Lucas to get stuck in an elevator together, or a reasonable facsimile, so their relationship can develop.

Why don't they kill a few birds and send Ruth and Harry undercover together, force them as a couple? That way we get an undercover story, open affection between our favourite couple, and probably something really dramatic in parts and really funny in others. That'd work wouldn't it? If they had to act as a couple, maybe they'd get more comfortable with the idea of being demonstrative with each other.

If Ros and Lucas are still around, I DO NOT want them to get together. I want to see a friendship between a man and a woman based on mutual respect and intellectual rapport, rather than trumped up chemistry. Men and women can be friends! It doesn't have to be about anything else!

Would love to see John Simm on The Grid think he'd make a fab Field Officer. Robert Glenister cleared and re-instated as HS. Harry and Ruth - think they should keep you guys in suspense until the end of S9 and then..... A new female Field Officer - but not for Lucas. Lots of action for Lucas, nudity negotiable. More about Tariq and his life outside MI5.

John Simm would be great in the field, yes, we talked about him being a Spooks officer in other thread. It would be great if Robert Glenister returned; only if he don't, Alan Rickman would be a great HS (but I don't think the can afford that).

I totally agree with you on the first point Kirmostar. There is no reason why he couldnt come back. Mandy did. As for your second comment that is pure evil and I cant look you in the eye now.......!

A relationship does not have to sexual. As of now they run through the streets together and exchange one sentence quips at the grid. I would like to see the feelings grow and spend more time together, not in bed, not having dinner etc but SOMETHING MORE.

One of the problems with sending Harry undercover is that he's well known to all the foreign agents as the head of section D -- don't know how this could be accomplished realistically. Ruth could probably get away with an undercover mission, but she's really not trained for that kind of field work.

I'd like to see Ruth used more in series 9 (if it comes to pass). I just think, apart from the opener, she has not really featured that often. She's a fantastic character, complex, 'bonkers but brilliant' etc

I like the way you think, Tomsdouble, we want to see more Ruth!!! Not only with Harry, on her own or with other members of the team. I'd like to see her having tea with Malcolm at her place, for example...

Thank you Beatriz! I thought it was just me. Less of the strangulated 'British reserve' (which can grate) and more of the emotional barriers coming down between Ruth and Harry. Can't they give us what we want? We don't ask for much!
