Limiting Myself to 10...

1. Please please PLEASE less shakycam! Somtimeimes you can't see what's going on and you loose all interest in the scene.
2. Harry and Ruth progresion please.
3. Try a Tariq centered episode.
4. Less zooming in and out during conversations. It does NOT add dramatic effect when over-used. (Again see point 1).
5. Less action and more fleshing out the characters. Action is all well and good, but if you don't worry about the characters lives/personalities because action's all they do, we get bored. If they do eventually get shot or something we go "YES! Finally! Now stop it." rather than "Oh NO!"
6. More humour please. The show used to be so good at balancing a comical aspect to make it feel more realistic as a workplace. Now all the characters appear to be either a) heavily depressed or b) too caught up in world domination, to be human.
7. More staff is an obvious one. I also don't just mean main character staff. Background staff we see but never hear appear to have pretty much vanished except for in desperate situations on the grid.
8. None of the grid members argue or bicker anymore. (Again see point 6).
9. Now that Ruth is back and settled make more use of her skills! She is SO good at her job so please don't waste it. Sad

10......... Cast me in an episode. Please! I am a drama student if that helps... (Wishful thinking but i'd love to work in this show!) Tongue

It would be good for many reasons.

He'd need to get off the grid, we'd learn more about him, we'd connect more with him after his parachute entry to the show... It's all plusses!

Good point. I did notice that when Ruth rushed towards Harry to try and stop him leaving the Grid, she bumped into a couple of people along the way. Where on earth had they all come from all of a sudden !

I'm pretty sure it was on this thread, carole. From memory, the wishlist was a little outrageous. Colin Firth, David Tennant and Alan Rickman were all mentioned.

I should have just read all the way through then! Silly me. Well anyway, my suggestion is Henry Cavill. He's not a massive star so they should be able to afford him, but he is seriously gorgeous - the only reason to watch the ridiculous Tudors...

1. More about what makes Lucas tick. Maybe someone in the team he could confide in?
2. More humour in the joshing style of Jo and Adam. Most people working in a high pressure environment have an element of 'gallows humour'. Sadly lacking in S8.
3. Needless to say but development of R/H.
4. Better threads for everyone! No need to put all field agents in leather jackets nearly all the time. Ruth to go back to her old boho chic style. Oh, and give her a hairbrush (or let her go home and wash her hair).
5. Tariq appeared, looked interesting, but hasn't really been developed.
6. More Harry...more out and about, more angry, more of his house, dog, Ruth's cats. Just more, more, more basically!

Ha Ha, Great first post Watchstrap. I second all of those, perhaps not the Ruth washing hair one though. She just has thick hair I think... Angel
