RE: Episode 8 Discussion
I'm not sure that meant there was a mole in sec D rather that nightingale were everywhere and monitoring everything Confused Although it would be a pretty interesting twist Tongue

RE: Episode 8 Discussion
Maybe...

How did everyone feel about the action scenes? Did the camera-work add to it or detract from it, as well as the poor lighting in the scene between Lucas and Sarah's hitman? (my initial suspicion was that they had a stunt man in who didn't look like Lucas, so they made it so there was no focus on the people, more a blur, but I doubt that was the intended purpose).

DANNY - Placements all over the shop. Back up vehicles, chopper support if we need it. Bomb disposal with a signal jammer for Mary’s trademark remote control blasts. And Tom here’s doing the catering. Mate. You are so covered.

RE: Episode 8 Discussion
Nightingale were everywhere then. I did give a little cheer when Ruth left the Grid. She has come along way.

I am just trying to watch it again on iPlayer. The tears in the wind bit on the roof, the look Harry gives Ruth right at the very end of that scene is lovely. I missed it first time. His eyes go down her.

I think there were stunt women in the fighting between Ros and Sarah. Ros looked like HN but Sarah woman looked like a double. You dont usually get hand to hand fight scenes in Spooks thinking back.
I am also wondering why Harry didnt rush into the hotel and try and save the HS and Ros when Lucas came out. Maybe a younger Harry would have done?? Maybe a Harry without Ruth would have rushed into the hotel, even if it was fruitless. Perhaps he has something to live for now.

yeah well, I couldn't resist. It's a bit like taking a sneak peek into the prezzies at Christmas Smile
It'll be a while till I can finally watch it and I had to know. Not that it helps me any, I need to see it with my own eyes Smile
still.... as far as continuation goes we're all on the HMS Clueless together Tongue

What exactly was he so upset about on the ruth? Just the prospect of a nuclear bomb or something else? I couldn't quite figure it out Confused
Not like Harry to get so emotional, I liked it Smile

Yeh I liked it too but as I said in my first post, I thought the H/R bits were a bit rushed. Why were they on the roof in the first place? Why Harry upset now? Was it just put in there to keep us going until the writers sorted themselves out for series 9? Come on writers, give us a proper H/R story.

RE: Episode 8 Discussion
Haha I just realised I said ruth instead of roof Tongue Quite a good pun really haha Big GrinBig Grin
And yeah it did seem odd like it stuck out from the flow of the scenes.

My fave H/R part was when he was leaving the grid and he looked back Smile
