RE: Favorite Episode?
Season 2 is perhaps my least favourite series, and I base that judged on the fact that it is the one I least re-watch over and over again.

I spy apocalypse is a good episode, in much the same way as
Spoiler: show
Diana (4.10)
in that it is like a play and the bulk of the action takes place within the Grid. I also agree with Silktie about it being the beginning of the end with Tom and Harry, really harrowing.

I do find the villain of the military episode very sad. Not particularly likeable, but sympathetic in a way that few bad guys in the show have been. (That's a good thread topic actually, I should start that.)

I also find 2.9 very sad. Mariella's story is one of the saddest in the show's history, and again, a source of great conflict between Harry and Tom.

And I agree with Zoe condemning Harry over the 14 yr old with the photographic memory. It's the episode in the show where I feel least sympathetic with Harry, and that's saying something, because I love him to death.

RE: Favorite Episode?
Probably 2.02 "Nest of Angels" which has a very convincing protrayal by Alexander Siddig of a troubled but brave and ethical moslem. He was far better suited to this role than in that rubbish Star Trek : Deep Space 9 series' character he played. Also the final episode 2.10 "Smoke and Mirrors" which contrasts brilliantly with the end of series 1, which somehow oddly had Zoe and Danny not holding to their instincts
Spoiler: show
how could they possibly have doubted Tom, especially Zoe?

I agree. 2.09 is very sad indeed, I rewatched it and I coulnd't help crying, poor Mariella... it was so unfair the way she ends... I remembered why I liked Tom so much, he's so caring

I'm rewatching series 2 atm, I couldn't remember there was a lot of confrontation between Harry and Tom.

RE: Favorite Episode?
Aren't you waiting for us to do it on the 2010 rewatch Beatriz? Sad Only kidding.

I didn't find the end that upsetting personally, but I don't often cry during tv programs. It was an interesting one though to see how they befriended then manipulated Mariella - I wonder if that happens in real life. I suppose it probably does... (Anyway, I will stop drifting slightly off topic now...)

DANNY - Placements all over the shop. Back up vehicles, chopper support if we need it. Bomb disposal with a signal jammer for Mary’s trademark remote control blasts. And Tom here’s doing the catering. Mate. You are so covered.

You know why I'm doing it... research purpose only Wink

I'll rewatch them again with all of you Wink
It was really heartbreaking, the way they used Mariella; Zoe and Tom found it really hard...

Of course. Will your newly planned trip to Majorca be for research purposes too? Tongue

RE: Favorite Episode?
Of course!! Silba
So most of us really enjoyed Spy Apocalypse, they should note down this and make another Grid based episode, and not much budget needed Tongue
