Yes I have a crystal ball here somewhere...

Putting aside politics, it must help the S10 cause, having the PM as a big fan. Would the BBC dare cancel the show now? I am sure he would fully support a campaign if the BBC tried to do their worst.

RE: Celebrity Spooks Fans
Mmm...that rather depends, I fear, on how much damage the BBC takes in the spending cuts and what the ConDems decide they're going to do to try and reign in Auntie Beeb. The Beeb could, after all, decide to cancel the show, saying that it's to save money because of Govt cuts...particularly as they'll know that it's Cameron's favourite. Well, it's what I'd do to p*&s him off, anyway...

RE: Celebrity Spooks Fans
The PM mentioned Spooks again yesterday, in an interview with Simon Schama in the Financial Times. I have just cut and pasted the relevant part:

"The next day I hand over some bison sausages. Cameron sighs lightly and laments that since taking the top job, he has spent less time in the kitchen than he would like, though the night before, “I cooked steak. It was very boring, but it was very good, actually … and some French beans, and we watched Spooks, which was lovely. It’s quite odd watching Spooks now, as it’s kind of not like it really is.”
Wow, really? The boyish illumination, like discovering Santa might actually not be up there at the North Pole, is hopelessly winning."

Do you think Cameron walked into Thames House and asked to speak to Harry Pearce on his first day???

DANNY - Placements all over the shop. Back up vehicles, chopper support if we need it. Bomb disposal with a signal jammer for Mary’s trademark remote control blasts. And Tom here’s doing the catering. Mate. You are so covered.
