Perhaps now people can be convinced of why I named this thread what I did. I am willing to bet every one of you took exception with at least one of the songs someone else put up.

But that's part of the fun - having tipsy conversations about why a song is good or not!

Here is a very short list of some of my "must dance to" songs"
Vueltasss
Walkin' on Sunshine - Katrina & the Waves
Dancin' in the Dark - Bruce Springsteen - (HUGE Springsteen fan! - not always danceable but luv him!)
Summer of '69 - Bryan Adams

A more "dodgey" song I can't resist dancing to...Summer Lovin' from Grease - especially fun when two groups sing the parts to each other!!Silba

I love dancing Summer Loving too, hahaha and under the circumstances you describe Tongue and You're the one that I want...

Another Springsteen fan here Big Grin as you say not always danceable but when I hear one of his songs I smile broadly Smile

Must-dance songs:
Girls who want to have fun - Cyndi Lauper
Time to pretend - MGMT (my friends and I have our particular choreography for this one Silba)
Like a virgin/Like a prayer - Madonna
Dancing Queen/Voulez vous - ABBA
Call me - Blondie
These boots are made for walking - Nancy Sinatra
Viva la vida - Coldplay (maybe not dance but jump Big Grin)
Groenlandia - Los Zombies (I totally love this song, everytime I hear it start dancing it like mad, I normally dance playing the fool so no big difference)
No me beses en los labios - AerolĂneas Federales

I'll stop for now Wink
