Just been watching the episode in Series 5 where Ros is at the Turkish embassy when it's taken over by Israeli Mossad agents. I noticed that one of the Mossad agents looked familiar, then it hit me.

He had also been a Syrian intelligence officer who helped kidnap Fiona!!

Anyone else think of times when minor actors have been re-used for different characters? This guy had speaking parts in both episodes, so it struck me as odd.

In the episode of Series 6 (can't remember the ep number) where Jo is locked in the boot of the car next to the bomb intended for Ana's husband, Ana's husband's security officer (I think, although it might be the guy who planted the bomb - or indeed both) makes a re-appearance in 8.01 as George.

I was also going to nominate George. He's the Iranian in the embassy that Anna ends up killing.

So he dies twice on the same show.

I noticed the guy in series six too! He was the security officer at the Iranian embassy who Ana killed accidentally. Poor fella gets whacked in season eight as well!

And Skully and I posted at exactly the same time!

Hah, so we did. Gosh, of course. RA as Officer Bob, how could I forget! I'm surprised no one mentions it when RA is interviewed.

He didn't have a speaking part though did he? I think that's ok, I don't tend to notice people who don't have speaking parts, so re-using them just washes over me.

I think he might have had a few words but he had the whole riot squad outfit on, so he's OK.
