I actually came here a few days ago specifically looking for this very thread, hoping it existed, because my sister and I have chatted about it a lot.

I suspect the Connie plan was in place early on that she would be a traitor, there were things in season 6 I found myself questioning months before 7 premiered, adn it wouldn't be surprising if Gemma Jones only signed on for a contract of 2 years.

But I couldn't believe no-one had talked about her because the way she enters the show is just so brilliant. I think the introduction of Connie, and the development of Jo, were the best things about an otherwise comparatively weak season 6.

And Neil Cross really likes monkeys in his scripts!

"A monkey could do that Malcolm, couldn't they? A monkey?"

And then that snide remark in 6.10 by the Venezuelan comparing Adam to his "pet monkey...with real cojones."
