Harry's like Batman (and other comic book mayhem)

Is the comic series still running? I never really got into Batman, saw the last film, that's it.

The comics will be running long after you and I are dead and gone unless something drastic were to happen to the world.

At the moment, Bruce Wayne (the real Batman) is dead. Dick Grayson (the first Robin) is Batman. Bruce's bastard child with one of his nemeses' daughter, Damian, is Robin.

Jason Todd, the second Robin who had been killed by the Joker isn't dead anymore (only in comics and soap operas) is Dick's arch nemesis, The Red Hood. Most of the Batman comic fans hated Jason when he was Robin, so they had a telephone contest to decide whether to kill him or not. By 28 votes it was voted to kill him off, so the Joker blew him up.

The third Robin, Tim Drake, is running around in a different costume using the alias Red Robin searching for Bruce whom Tim is convinced is still alive (yeah, still only in comics and soap operas).

The original Batgirl (Barbara Gordon, daughter of Commissioner Gordon) was shot and paralyzed by the Joker in the mid/late 1980's is the super hero hacker Oracle.

There have been a few other Batgirls over the years, and even I can't keep up with all of them. There's a new one who was Tim Drake's girlfriend and later the fourth Robin, until she died. She's better now too (Comics and Soaps again*).

To steer myself back closer to being on topic, the reason I compare Harry to Batman has more to do with the fact that Batman is prepared for almost any situation and a ruthless tactician. He also has plans to not only take down all of his enemies if necessary, but he also has plans for how to take down his friends (He currently has the only piece of Kryptonite on the planet just in case his best friend Superman gets out of hand).

*Maybe my mom watching soap operas when I was a little kid had something to do with me reading comics. It's really her fault. Hmmm.....
