it'll def make up for my epically boring lecture that day.

Finally, I got to skim read both articles. (So my denial is falling to pieces Sad).

1) Who is the trusted friend Harry is dismayed with and has blood on their hands? This is worrying me.
2) There is no mention of Ruth.
3) "trying to save the HS" I assume this means he died rather than survived and retired.

1) I'm also pointing at Nicholas Blake as the trusted friend... It can't be Malcolm, nor Ruth...
2) I'm sure she will be there, but maybe isn't mention as she isn't directly involved in the events. As more people has pointed out.
3) I can only say sniff Sad

I thought the interview with RA was superb and I am very excited now. I have high hopes for this season based simply on this interview and really hope the show can come up with the good stuff.

RE: [Spoilers] BBC Press release - series 9
What great news, although my daughter will be gutted as she is on a school trip all week! That's really early in the season isn't it? I am sure that the last episode of S8 aired in the week before Xmas. Mon 20th at 9pm would mean it going head to head with Bouquet of Barbed Wire...interesting.
I thought that Spooks went out on a Thurs evening for the last couple of seasons with the next week's episode showing on BBC3 on the Fri (except the last week when they make us wait a whole week Sad). It used to show on Mon evening in the early days definitely.

I am just a bit p**ed off that my new woodburner and 42' TV won't be installed in time. I was looking forward to cosying up with Harry in front of some flickering flames, toasting marshmallows! Damn Sad

Don't feel bad, we have yet to get series 8 here in Australia (luckily thanks to a kind friend overseas I saw it straight after it was shown in the UK )

And the DVD's released in 16 days' time. Even with the postal delay to Oz, it'll be here before the (Australian) ABC gets around to screening S8.

Remember that we have links to the episodes in the Grid a few hours after they have aired. Basically as soon as they are available. Three of our four Mods access them that way and you can too, should you decide to become a Spook. We also have links for older episodes.

We are rather drifting from the topic though, this is about the press release. What did people think of the interview RA gave? I noticed some people are very shirty about the blatant Ros spoiler but really - did anyone expect otherwise?
