Those are great news!!! And they are said to talk about HR relationship!! Smile I wonder who "they" are: NW, PF, the writers?

Hooray! NW's commentaries are always entertaining. I'm sure they'll have to talk about the HR relationship - it'd be kinda hard to comment on episodes 1 and 8 in particular without talking about it.

Oh dear, "The Downfall of Lucas North?" Not so sure about that one Wink, but awesome news about Nicola Walker's return to the Audio Commentaries! Can't wait for those, I loved her commentary in 4.9 and 4.10, I suppose they'll talk about the Harry/Ruth relationship, Silktie is right, in 9.1 and 9.8 its sort of difficult not to mention it Smile It also says the writters/producers will be doing those Commentaries
I always liked Andrew Woodhead's audio commentaries as well Wink Seems like the S9 extra's are going to be a lot better than S8 Wink
Can't help but notice though it says that S9 is a 3 disc boxset, when there were 8 Episodes in S7 and 8 and both of them were 4 disc sets?

Perhaps, depends whether he's really dead or not. But he certainly self-destructed.

The features on the S9 DVD sound terrific - definitely better than S8 which I thought was pretty poor, especially when it's $50+ Australian dollars. And a Nicola Walker commentary is always good value. Just over five weeks to go! Beats the usual Oct/Nov release.

I guess the "Downfall of Lucas North" will be the writers' attempt to try and explain to the audience why Lucas headed down such a stupid and messed-up ending. No doubt the writers are trying to save their own skin and make their plot actually plausible. Dodgy

Enough of Lucas already, I would have prefered a Peter interview

Well, considering this series was centered on Lucas, is it really that shocking that they are doing a feature on the character?

I'm sure Peter would be interviewed for the extras on the DVD too, we did see in the teaser of him and Nicola, so they may have a joint interview.

I for one am really looking forward to this DVD release and what the writers have to say. Yes, seeing NW and PF together will make it well worth buying. I guess if you really hated the series that much, don't bother buying it.
