zzVideo 28.02.2011 DVD re-releases
Hi, just looking at these recent UK DVD re-releases it seems they've gone for slim packaging but am wondering if any of the content has changed?

Have noticed Season 8 has no 5.1 audio but the re-release of Season 7 does - did the first release of Season 8 have 5.1 audio?

Anyone noticed any other differences aside from packaging?

83 page views and not a single person with the original Season 8 DVD set? Huh

Well I'm really not sure what 5.1 audio is, but my S8 DVD set says 'Audio: English 2.0' on the back of it

Thanks very much - I'm assuming you've got the original UK DVD set not the one in the thin single case just released in February? Smile

RE: 28.02.2011 DVD re-releases
Thanks again, that clears Season 8 up - so until anyone has any other observations it would seem only the packaging has changed, not the content - good Smile

In answer to your question, if you didn't google it, the earlier Spooks sets have the option for either stereo (2.0) or surround (5.1) sound mixes - it seems from your reply that Season 8 not only had less special features than previous sets but they also didn't do any 5.1 surround sound mixes - sounds like they cut the production budget for that DVD set.
