I think we will never know. From a dramatic stand point, I think that it is enough that the possibility exists. That is more compelling than knowing for certain either way.

as soon as it was mentioned i thought straight away! but i guess never knowing is a good thing but his face when she left in the car - and then the scene with ros where he was trying to tell her he didnt care for Anna, i think he did in spite of himself!
