Very disappointing - it's down nearly 500k.

The first episode was a bit slow so maybe after last night's belter it will be up again next week.

i dont think we can judge accuratly ubtill the full figures are out this afternoon for ep1 and its timeshift!

Adjusted figures for E1 come in at 5.63m - well down on last year although it was the 8th most watched programme on BBC1.

Very disappointing - no point going over the same thing again and again so I'll just say for the last time it deserved better than being up against Downton.

Overnights for E3 come in at 4.34m - an improvement of around 200k maybe because last E2 was well received.

Not stupid! I think it's a random selection of homes around the country that are asked to put some sort of electronic device in their tv that monitors what they watch. Don't know for how long but think they move from house to house quite a bit. In other words a lottery!!
