How are we watching ep. 6?

RE: How are we watching ep. 6?
I have the house to myself tonight woo hoo:-) I'll switch on the telly at 8:55pm with Sky + record, with a large mug of tea (raised at 9pm) & a biccie under a cozy blanket and indulge myself with that heady excitement for one last time; of not knowing what will happen to our Spooks! I have a college exam first thing tomorrow morning; so any re-watches will have to wait until after that, and I'll have to discipline myself not to have any second looks after until;-) Enjoy everyone!!

Big Grin Yes, and maybe in 20 years time, we'll have Spooks: the Next Generation, just like Dallas is going to be doing. Smile

RE: How are we watching ep. 6?
So the day has come.

My nerves are shot - couldn't sleep last night and had to go to the spare room to let hubby get dome peace!

More articles in this morning's papers confuse things further.

My brother-in-law and cousin are big fans too so they're coming round with their spouses and kids for Sunday Dinner at 6.00p.m and then all those who want will watch together. My youngest son and daughter love it but the oldest boy isn't interested!

Each of us will have our own favourite "comforts" but mine is a "bloody Margaret" - my name for a bacardi and tomato juice and a box of Payne's Chocolate Brazils.

As the credits start to roll I will toast all other Spooks fans and everyone on the Forum.

And of course there is a large box of tissues to hand - no matter what the ending I reckon we'll need them!

Ha! Smile Yes, I can see myself tomorrow indulging in a bit of traumatised running - and everywhere I go, seeing faces of people I think are on the Grid, and losing it. Smile

RE: How are we watching ep. 6?
.. ah, I've never in my life been worked up about a TV series before this- this- Spooks-effect!

I don't own a tv.
I stumbled on an episode, via Netflix, because of a friend's referral and subsequently spent an inordinate, embarrassing number of hours glued to my computer screen, 'catching up' on 9 seasons (!)

.. too greedy to watch them in as attentive, sedate a manner as they deserve, to be honest- (on that, more later-)

anyways, I have 2 choices for 'how' I'll watch Infamous Episode Six:
1. wait, like a mature adult, until it's available on one of the h-d streaming sites, probably 24 hours later- i.e. tomorrow
2. don't wait- scramble to see What Happens for goodnesssakes!- via a grainy, advertisement-plagued replay-copy on one of those 'free tv' sites

uh. like there's really a choice?! Undecided

I'll not be able to wait more than a few moments after I know it has officially aired on the BBC (not for 'cross-the-Pond-ers, darn)

but then.. I've promised myself a serious 2nd viewing of the ENTIRE series, from episode 1. Smile watching attentively and properly, picking up on all sorts of delicious details I missed the first, greedy time..

and maybe a few visits here! to be consoled 'it's over' by others who are feeling the same withdrawal pain-

Going to bed now, will try very hard to sleep so I can get up early and watch almost live. Wink
I cannot believe the effect a TV show can have on so many people, but here I know Im not alone with this. Testament to true TV magic. Hope we all get some resolution!

Happy viewing spookies!

Ruth RE: How are we watching ep. 6?
I've just finished re-watching eps 1 & 2 and am on to #3. In about half an hour, the bottle of wine will be opened and I'll slowly start working on that.

Thankfully my hubby has agreed to keep our kids out of my way for the day while I re-watch everything. I've already warned him that when I'm watching the final ep, he will hear me cursing at my computer and that I will be crying a lot. I think he's figured out that it's easier to just let me do this than to say anything. Smile

Can anyone tell me how long the episodes will be available on iPlayer? I'm watching from the States, so I'd like to know how long I have to watch before they are gone and I'm stuck waiting for the DVDs.

Zaf: "Shouldn't you be in prison or something?"
Ros: "This is the something."

RE: How are we watching ep. 6?
I'd planned to do a series 10 re-watch today but ended up having to work instead Sad I've got my chocolate, Ribena & tissues ready. Also, my sister is under strict instruction to say I'm not home if anyone phones or visits.

Harry RE: How are we watching ep. 6?
Being on the other side of the Atlantic I am wildly jealous of all you lucky souls who will see this in 38 minutes. It will be hard to think of much else for the next hour and one half. Fingers crossed and waiting for IPlayer tonight with baited breadth. In the meantime I have to distract myself with watching the Bears play in Wembley Stadium. Sad

It has been good to share the angst with all of you these last few hours.
