Harry [Spoilers] Sir Harry Pearce
We need a place to discuss the main man himself! Big Grin

I think it's a fantastic character - one of the most interesting on TV. A man of principle, but who doesn't hesitate to go over to the dark side when necessary.

What are your favourite Harry moments?

Lol! So I assume you had no problem with Harry shooting the Russian in 7.2? I know that some people believe Harry crossed the line with that, as it was done for personal revenge rather than for operational reasons. What are your thoughts on that?

He was in the Army... it's not as if he hasn't killed people before. It didn't bother me that it was personal, I just enjoyed the "I don't take shit from anyone" attitude.

It was nice for his character to deviate from the politician we see more and more now-a-days.

RE: Sir Harry Pearce
I really like Harry because he has always been in the series, it is nice to to have a bit of continuity in a series that regularly loses it's other main characters. Just hope he is in the new series ! I thought it was a bit strange to shoot Kachimov, after all a lot of spooks have been kill and I can't remember Harry personally taking revenge for them, but of course, I could be wrong.

But Adam was different, I think Harry thought of him almost as a son. But Harry is one of the best characters on Spooks because of his amazing one-liners and dry wit.

DANNY - Placements all over the shop. Back up vehicles, chopper support if we need it. Bomb disposal with a signal jammer for Mary’s trademark remote control blasts. And Tom here’s doing the catering. Mate. You are so covered.

RE: Sir Harry Pearce
Yep. Knighted in series 6 series 6 episode 3. He previously had a CBE, but that doesn't carry a title. He then got an OBE or MBE, so 'Sir'.

RE: Sir Harry Pearce
I haven't read either the Personnel Files or Harry's Diary (can't get those books out here in the boondocks), did they provide any information about Harry's family? Specifically his parents - is he from a more privileged or middle class background?
