Yes, didnt he take Bridget Jones' mum (Connie.....hisss) with him to the Palace? Thought that was a bit odd !

Well she offered! And it would have been quite rude if he said no. Also I think he didn't feel comfortable about getting knighted, so wanted someone he knew there. Catherine was probably filming somewhere, and Ruth's... somewhere as well, so I suppose Connie isn't that odd a choice for him to bring along.

I agree with the vulnerability. Awww, poor Harry asking Ruth out! And speaking to Catherine - those are the only two times that we've seen him cry, I think, although I may be wrong.

I agree with most of you, I think he has sth, not handsome but some atractiveness...

Yesterday I began watching spooks again (series 1 episode 1) and he had short hair, I prefer him with the hair not so short, Tongue

He is determined but on the other hand, when it comes to feelings he's very vulnerable... It was so cute to watch him being a father or with Ruth, he was another person Heart

Short hair is a no. I'm sorry, but it really does not look good on him.

RE: Sir Harry Pearce
I dont know if it is me going mad but I am watching "Watch" channel and the Spooks repeats on Wednesday nights. Last nights episodes were cut to bits. In fact as far as I can remember, the main cuts were Harry and Ruth. I guess because that story line can be cut and doesnt really alter the main plot. Is this how the episodes are sold to other countries who also have adverts? I can only assume the episodes have been cut to fit in the three sets of adverts. The bits where

RE: Sir Harry Pearce
I hate it when episodes are cut up so crudely for ad-time... and not just with Spooks.. ALL BBC shows suffer the same fate when broadcast on other channels!!

They were hacked to bits both on A&E and on BBC America in the US.

RE: Sir Harry Pearce
But at least they are made a full hour to fit with the BBC schedules. Some programmes are clearly made only 50 minutes long so the American channels can put in their adverts and we get a 10 minute document of behind the scenes filming. We wouldn't want Spooks reduce to 50 minutes, would we !!
