RE: Spooks Locations
I was helping almh. Please, take a look at this one, it's in almh's pub list, she sent it to me and I had to check them. http://www.thelodgetavern.co.uk/ I could be... but I'm not sure, what do you think?

RE: Spooks Locations
Possible, but Ealing is on the other side of London from where they usually film. My best bet is a pub in Bermondsey called the Ancient Foresters. It has karaoke & live music so it's feasible it has function rooms called the Lodge Bar or Chapter Room. I have found a few internal pics, but they don’t look like the place Harry & co sat. It is only a few miles away, but is near Millwall's ground - not an area I visit to be honest. Hubby has never been there, & from some reviews I have read, I'm not sure I can convince him it would be a good idea, but you only live once…
Oh dear, he's read the reviews. Not keen..

I have just realised there is another location no-one has mentioned, although it is on the map already from a different scene.
Ep 7.1 -
Spoiler: show
Adam drives the car with the bomb onto the middle of Finsbury Square, where it explodes

My gut feeling looking at those pictures is that it is not that pub. The place looks too funky. The pub they went to is one of those real ale pubs, unchanged for 20 years, quite small and cosy.

I think I looked at the Foresters Carole9908 but wasnt convinced either. The other option is that they used a pub around Freemasons Hall and just continued the filming on nearby. From my visit to Freemasons I did notice a lot of small pubs around there.

RE: Spooks Locations
It can't be that small, if it has 2 other named rooms. I'll keep searching though, as I can't see me visiting the Ancient Foresters any time soon. It was the name that stood out for me - the pub we are looking for must have a masonic name - and the fact they have used a pub in Bermondsey before, apparently.

RE: Spooks Locations
Well, I think I may have found the H/R dock area from 5.5. The coordinates are slightly different to Almh's suggestion a few months back. They are 51:30:27N, 0:00:26E. Grid reference TQ393806. I have tried to put a link on this page to multimap. I think this is the place because of its location to Canary Wharf, with HSBC in front of that building, the white walkway of the dock, and the floating boat thing with two red cabins with port windows in them. There is no other dock like this along this side of the river. Have a look at the link and then compare it to the scene in 5.5 and let me know what you think.

RE: Spooks Locations
When in 5.5 does the dock appear? I will see if I recognize it as CW is just down the road from my office.
That's along the river from my office. I'm afraid it's not the right view of CW, from that first long shot. I think it's more likely to be on the Rotherhithe side of the river, from where HSBC would appear to the left of Canada Tower & Citibank to the right.

Spoiler: show
Its when they say goodbye at the end. Ruth is standing on a floating type dock waiting to get on a barge when Harry turns up to say goodbye.

RE: Spooks Locations
Ah THAT scene. I was looking at the earlier one with Zaff. Yes, you are right. I think I'm in this shot, at my desk in the corner on the 7th floor of the building on the right hand side of the screen. Tongue
Right, I'm going offline now, to continue my *ahem* research on Series 1..

Series 1, Episode 3.
The "State Consulate of Turkey" is filmed at 10 Carlton House Terrace, London SW1.
At 03:55, the camera pans from the house to the Duke of York Column at the top of the steps leading from The Mall to Waterloo Place.
At 31:39, there is an overhead shot of the building, showing Horseguards Parade clearly in the background.
54:56
Spoiler: show
Johnny Marks walks out of Tess's apartment block & meets Harry
the road sign Saffron St is visible. This is in EC1.

RE: Spooks Locations
Did you see Richard Armitage in the episode while you were at it? (He appears in 1.3)

Nice work on the others though.
