Series where everything changed?

zzQuestion Series where everything changed?
Series 5 for me has always been the series where eveything changed.. with various characters departing and various characters joining, it felt like a lot of things changed, not only with storylines but with the way the show was shot.

Then again, it wasn't until Series 6 that the threaded storylines were brought in..

What do you think?

RE: Series where everything changed?
Just watched first episode of S7, which confirms what I had stated otherwise : Spooks has become by Series 5 -as confirmed in S7- a Hollywood TV Show copycat, in the unbearable likes of "24" or James Bond.
But a least James never tried to be credible in the first place!

North and Carter finding their way thru the streets of London without the hint of a traffic jam ? Oh my! Drove in London lately ?

Crossing the city to diffuse a bomb all by themselves ? (If you really want to avoid a tragedy and are miles away, the best course of action is NOT to drive there yourself!)

Jump in the rigged car and drive it away ? Yeah right....

Not sure I'll go thru all of S7. Certainly won't buy S8
