Death by mascara. It was horrible to watch. Ruth's agonizing over the fact that there are no more horses in modern-day warfare and Adam's on a course learning how to lift his knuckles off the ground. So, you'll have to make do with me, I'm afraid.

he means with inverted commas ie it sort of has been but not officially.

DANNY - Placements all over the shop. Back up vehicles, chopper support if we need it. Bomb disposal with a signal jammer for Mary’s trademark remote control blasts. And Tom here’s doing the catering. Mate. You are so covered.

Re this article, I did have the misfortune to see this while enjoying a coffee out this morning. Why I picked up the dailymail I dont know, it was just on the table. For those outside of the UK it is the most scaremongering newspaper here. The whole article is again pure speculation with a quote at the end from a BBC spokesperson saying it
Series 9 Spoiler: show
is not true that Spooks has been cancelled.
Why on earth then write the article in the first place as the BBC have just told you your article is a load of rubbish! No such article has appeared in any of the main reliable broadsheet newspapers like the Times or the Telegraph. Grrrrh, you can tell this tainted my coffee this morning. RANT RANT.

All this soap opera reminds me of something... hmm let me see...
The story repeats itself, they are playing with us again, as they did with series 8 air date ¬¬ Thcussing

RE: Series 9 rumour - possible spoiler......
You are right Beatriz. The bit about viewing figures is again totally misleading as Spooks was also shown on BBC3. Also the late showing of series 8 meant that for 3 of its 8 week run it was up against "Im a celebrity get me out of here" which is a really popular show in the UK and gets well over 10 million viewers. Spooks would have picked up at least another 1 million viewers if it had not been put against this programme. Maybe that is the fault of the BBC in part. In saying that I dont think its so much the BBC now (although they could stop all this speculation with a press release) but the media. The media in the UK seem to like a bit of BBC bashing at the moment.
