RE: Things I learnt from watching Spooks
It really is possible to run after baddies in high-heeled boots.

No one in MI5 has to pay the congestion charge.

The streets of London are always miraculously clear of traffic when MI5 officers need them to be.

That is so funny ... I have thought the same thing many times. It is like the TV "24" in the states. Somehow Jack Bauer gets from one side of LA to the other with no traffic and in minutes.

I think I have seen a few Audis too.

Only bastards, bitches and duplicitous traitors work for MI6.

MI5 officers are so good even the blond, blue-eyed ones can go undercover in Turkey and not get caught.

One crazy man and his laptop really can bring the country to its knees.

Despite having tiny tracking devices which can be fitted to anyone and any thing, MI-5 frequently misplaces its senior staff.

Never stay in a safe house. You would be better off standing in the middle of the street with a big sign on your head saying "here I am."

A former agent's biggest weapon/threat against MI5 is writing a book.

No matter how many days they've been held hostage, no one's beard every grows and they never have bad breath.
