I know Tea Lady, but I can't help thinking they'll pull the plug at some point. I remember reading that series 7 was to be the last a few weeks before its airing. Thankfully it was rubbish (the rumour, not the series) so here's to series 9 and 10......

Of course they will pull the plug as nothing lasts for ever and Peter cant go on as Harry when he's 80 but its here for now and thats good enough for me. Who knows what's round the corner.......close your eyes and what sort of puppy do you see........heavy man....

And I suppose if Spooks does ever get plugged all we need to do is just send the BBC... well, we can decide that at a later date. Maybe fake information dossiers saying "Spooks: Status:Sleeping. Hoping to be reawakened." Or something cooler

Anyway, episode 1. Dog story! Now that I know what they're talking about, that dog story seems even cuter

I'm finally rewatching the episode again - Now, when I'm in a calmer mood (and less in shock that Ruth moved on!) I do actually think it's a good episode - it's improving in my mind! It was certainly a new form of torture, which did work really well, it left me feeling sort of depressed. Well, not depressed, but when your stomach is in your feet... Ok, explaining this badly. But I do wonder if it would have been better as a longer episode.

Just occurred to me that Harry is the last original character left; Tom, Zoe, Danny, Colin, Malcolm, Tessa etc all gone. Harry absolutely has to stay and never get killed or written out!
