Something that probably counts for everyone: I learnt that British shows can actually be brilliant.

Things I learnt from watching Spooks...that Harry's wonderful sarcasm only works on TV and that trying on real people can often get you into trouble.

"Where's Harry?"
"Moving in mysterious ways."

I've removed all the posts that were completely off-topic. I apologise to everyone for a certain member's behaviour.

Things I learnt from watching Spooks...that any photo or video, no matter how pixelated, can be "cleaned up" to see minute details.

All male spies ever must have designer stubble.

The biggest state secrets are always hidden in a church somewhere.

A man can run across London with a huge knife stuck in his leg artery without bleeding out.

Spies can move everything out of a house in a matter of hours.

Having your iron plugged in and turned on 24/7 in case an ex-French Foreign Legion chap turns up at your flat.

You need lots of hair product to stop fly-away hair, if you are on top of a high rise building.
