Will There Be A Series 10?

What can possibly be kept afresh by the writers? & how will they end it? A cliffhanger, or will there be closure & resolution & The Grid is closed down?

Fingers crossed yes. And the only appropriate occasion for Spooks to end in my mind would be when Harry leaves section d.

I can't see the Grid closing down (not realistic IMO, given the current nature of affairs) but Harry's been there throughout the show, so I can really see that him leaving / retiring / dying (please, no!) would mark the end of the show. Or vice versa.

Somebody was saying that the crew for S9 had mentioned that there will be a S10. I have a nasty feeling though, that the end will not be pretty, whatever they do....

i know... like harry 'retiring', or section d being shut down, or a revamping of the security services in the UK making section D/MI5 redundant and putting the oliver maces of the world in charge of national security.

I have a feeling there will be a Series 10, they've signed on two fairly big names in British TV and I think they'd want to get the most out of them.
