I don't have big hands!

But yeah, dream on.

I agree with BoHenley that the show would have lost credibility had they survived.

RE: [Spoilers] BBC Press release - series 9
In the new TV Times it features Spooks for the next issue which ties in with airing week beginning 18 September.

I tried phoning the BBC this morning but could only get the usual "schedules are only available for the next 10 days".

I think all of us were aware as to the position of Hermione North regarding Series 9 but I am actually very angry with the information they have given out regarding the first episode - it does rather spoil the "will she - won't she" situation. It should have been kept under wraps.

Yes, you can hardly avoid the main spoiler now. To be honest though, RA seemed to have let the cat out of the bag months ago, if you read any of his interviews for Strikeback.

I am sure we will get the date in the next couple of days, as the TV magazines have to go to print.

Please tell me that was a mistake and you meant Norris?

You can find the information about it here. There you can find the account of events which will take place in series 9 episode 1. So BEWARE OF SPOILERS!!

You can read an interview with Richard Armitage about what will go on in Series 9 on the Program Information page. Obviously, it's full with spoilers!

I'm so excited I can barely type!!!Yahoo

Thanks for the link. It was a great interview. I am really bummed about Ros dying. When the characters die I feel like a friend has left me. What exactly does that say about my life???!!!! I am so jealous that I won't be able to see Season 9 right away.

I'm also betting the person with blood on their hands is Nicholas Blake. Not sure how they're going to do that and make it believable but anyhow...

And Harry's not sure the Beth character can be trusted... hmmm, so I'm guessing it's going to be a tossup whether she or Lucas is the traitor?

I think Lucas is going to end up being Harry's son who is mentioned very early on in the show and never discussed after that.

I'm right there with ya'!

Three of our four Mods access them that way and you can too, should you decide to become a Spook. We also have links for older episodes.

We are rather drifting from the topic though, this is about the press release. What did people think of the interview RA gave? I noticed some people are very shirty about the blatant Ros spoiler but really - did anyone expect otherwise?

Not to get off topic but what exactly does "very shirty" mean?
(07-09-2010 08:21 AM)Tea Lady Wrote:  I do wonder whether this press release and other interviews are just one big ruse, and Ros is still alive. A bit like the Allies campaign in 1944 to divert attention for the D-Day landings, to the Pas-de-Calais region.

*Is that the big hand of JHyde I see, going to slap me awake*

There was an interview with HN that someone posted earlier in which she said she definitely left the show before "Ros left her".

It means people got annoyed because they gave away that Ros was a goner.

Yeah, I'm with the others that it would have been pretty unbelievable for her to have survived that explosion. But look at it this way: at least now her particles and Adam's particles can mingle up in the stratosphere, so they're finally together...

She'll have to fight Fiona for him! Wink

Now cracks a noble heart. Good-night, sweet [Spooks];
And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.
