No on-screen exit for Beth? Great, how typical, I guess I shouldn't be surprised really...

Hope the new characters they are bringing in are interesting.

Gotta be in a good way, since Alice Krige is a fabulous actress and will play off well against PF. Lets hope Kudos does not fritter away such first class acting talent the way they didn't give Gemma Jones (Connie) anything interesting to do until the very end, and the way they've given SRB very little to do so far.

RE: Series 10 Casting Discussion
Wink I will have to watch her in something I've not seen her before, but I trust she and PF will be great!
I just couldn't stand it if someone came in and ended up creating a love triangle for the whole Ruth/Harry thing, waaay too much like a soap opera Wink

agreed! It was a shame Gemma Jones didnt get more screen time during her time on the show, and hopefully SRB will also get more screen time Smile They've got a lot of talented actors so they have to use them well Smile

Can anyone recommend something Alice Krige has been in? May try and hunt it out.

Nah, don't think there is a love triangle in the works. Kudos knows they are not doing a soap. Thing is, they've always had the best of British talents (actors/actresses, scriptwriters, producers, behind-the-scenes tech guys etc.) working on or for the show. They've just not always used these people in the most efficient and effective way!

RE: Series 10 Casting Discussion
I just checked out an interview with Alice Krige and as an actress I like her already! Smile But I hope her character is either likable or someone we love to hate like Ros was when she first arrived Wink

Why yes! Alice Krige caught my eye years ago when she was in Chariots of Fire. I would suggest that you skip her parts as the Borg Queen in the Star Trek movies. Whilst I love Star Trek, I don't think one should judge an actress's work solely on their forays into sci-fi. Alice Krige has also done a lot of guest roles on TV, as you can see from her CV on IMDB. Have fun catching up on her work Smile
