Zoe Episode 6 Discussion [rewatch]
I would have liked to see more of the back story to this episode.. it felt like it was slotted in to provide an exit.. I would have liked to maybe see it span two episodes...

What do you think?

EDIT: Renamed for the rewatch.

RE: Zoe Court Case
It definitely felt like two episodes of story crammed into one.

RE: Zoe Court Case
I don't think it should have, because spread over two episodes it would have lost some of the pace. The order two-parters normally manage to keep the story fast, usually using high-adrenaline running sequences/explosions. I think the writers made the right decision in keeping it just to one episode.

DANNY - Placements all over the shop. Back up vehicles, chopper support if we need it. Bomb disposal with a signal jammer for Mary’s trademark remote control blasts. And Tom here’s doing the catering. Mate. You are so covered.

RE: Zoe Court Case
I think it would be more final if it had been done over two episodes. With the one episode, it was done very quickly, that I wouldn't be surprised if Zoe makes an appearance again.

RE: Zoe Court Case
I thought it was an appropriate write out for the character, although it meant a slight problem in continuity, as there was a bigger gap between episodes 5 and 6 then the Will/Zoe break-up might give away. I mean, really, how did the case get to trial so damn fast?

Let's face it, once Will went to meet her in Chile, this was the closest to a happy ending the show is likely to see.

RE: Zoe Court Case
Although hopefully
Spoiler: show
we might see a happy ending for Harry and Ruth -fingers crossed-

And I don't think that the decision for the people wasn't that hard - believe a shady government organisation, or a less shady person.

RE: Zoe Court Case
When I first saw it, I thought I'd missed an episode somehow.

Yeah, I felt the same way. Or it felt like most UK shows after it gets chopped up by US networks.

RE: Zoe Court Case
I thought it didn't work because the times didn't seem to fit... Like it must have take a long time for the case to get to court and yet it looks as though it all happened in between episodes or at least pretty near that cos Adam was there.
I think it would have been better if there was a build up to it or something..
Although I did love the actual storylin of this.. It makes a nice change that a main character can exit without dying Tongue and I thought the case with the flashbacks was reall interesting.
