RE: [spoilers] Spooks Actors - New Projects Thread
Does anyone know if NW is in another show around the 30th December in the UK? I remember reading something way back and this date sticks in my mind. I do not have a long range TV guide to look it up. Just wondered if any NW fans knew?

Yes I agree David was very good in Small Island. He didnt look like he had aged at all. I loved the way Queenie's husband thought he was the father of her child !

RE: [spoilers] Spooks Actors - New Projects Thread
She finished performing in Mrs Klein early in December - the 5th, I think. I know she's filming Grandma's House in February 2010 - which, come to think of it, is worrying given if we get a S9, that date conflicts with what we've been told about filming. Then again, it is for a sitcom in front of a live audience, and that's not usually a long filming period.

I wish I'd seen her in Gethesmane. She'd done that play a few times with various casts, and the part would be a great fit for her. He's an awesome playwright.

I forgot to say that she's also in the adaptation of Oliver Twist which is FINALLY about to screen here in Australia on Boxing Day.

JHyde do you ever sleep?

I have answered my own question, sorry. Found it on the BBC website. The program is called "The Turn of the Screw" and is on 30th December at 9pm BBC1. Nicola plays somone called Carla. She is 5th on the cast list so should feature quite a lot in it. Information on the program is as follows:

"Drama studying the interactions between the living and the dead.
A young governess, Ann, is sent to a country house to take care of two orphans, Miles and Flora. Soon after her arrival, Miles is expelled from boarding school. Although charmed by her young charge, she secretly fears there are ominous reasons behind his expulsion.
With Miles back at home, the governess starts noticing ethereal figures roaming the estate's grounds. Desperate to learn more about these sinister sightings she discovers that the suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of her predecessor hold grim implications for herself.
As she becomes increasingly fearful that malevolent forces are stalking the children the governess is determined to save them, risking herself and her sanity in the process."

I thought that version had already screened over there. She filmed it a while back. Or rather, it was in the works for MONTHS before they actually started filming in August. I remember reading about that project last year while Spooks 7 was airing.

"Shift work" Sad

Poor you. Sleepy

My husband has just come off a night shift where he had to walk round in temperatures of -8 !! (He doesnt want to go out this evening now.....hurrrrahhhh !!! )

I dont think it's a repeat as it's on BBC1. They usually put repeats on one of the lesser channels. It looks pretty scary anyway.

I've been looking forward to that very much. But given how long it takes for stuff to filter through to Australia's national broadcaster.

Yeah, now you can watch finale!!!

I think I said earlier in this thread, next year is HUGE for him. He's playing the Sheriff of Nottingham in Ridley Scott's Robin Hood with Cate Blanchett and Russell Crowe.

I know this isnt a future project but I saw MM in Frost/Nixon last night. It was being shown on SKY movies. He kind of scared me with that hair. I didnt recognise him until he spoke.
