A Ruth video would be fantastic! I've only ever seen one, I think. Especially now that she's had some kick-ass action scenes, there's so much material to work with.

Can someone with the Personnel Files help me out: Does Ruth speak Russian?

I tend to assume she can speak all languages ever Wink

, but would like to check facts in this instance.

I don't have the book on me at this precise moment but i did write up the Ruth page on our wikia and used the book. I put there that Ruth's languages:

"... include; Spanish, Arabic, Greek, French, Latin, Persian, Russian, Mandarin and Wu Chinese. She confesses however that her Cantonese is terrible".

So yes. Yes she does as far as I'm aware. Smile

I happen to have the Personnel Files right next to me Angel

and the languages listed are: French - fluent, Spanish - fluent, Arabic - fluent, Persian - fluent, Greek (ancient) - fluent, and Latin - fluent.

However, I think it is understood in the Spooks canon that she has a talent for languages and picked up Russian, Mandarin and Wu over the years. Or as it serves the plot. She's like a shark with languages!
