RE: [spoilers] Jo
I thought so! Unless there was some kind of endorsement scheme where she had to wear the dress for several high profile occasions.

Guess we'll have to wait for S8's DVD release here in France in October 2010 to chek it out.

The dress is gorgeous though, so is she with that new hairdo..Yahoo

I liked that dress, I want one!! Wink

As for Jo, she was a great character but not well-developed, I think I needed more of her background to get to know her better... They missed a good oportunity to build a good storyline with her, IMO.
It's the typical character I would sympathise and empathize with, but weirdly enough, I didn't until the few last episodes...

There is a clip of her being interviewed at the Oscars in the dress on You Tube (Peter Firth also)

No, it's the same 2009 BAFTA Awards the above picture is taken from.

That dress and the belt can also be seen in the Spooks scene I decribed earlier on (which for me is still totally out of context since I don't even know which episode of S8 this scene is from... Help anyone?), as well as on a still photo of MSO's whole cast.

It's still surprising that she would wear that outfit in two different shows, playing two different characters, as well as at a public event where she would be expected to show up in some kinda "haute couture" extravagenza!

That said, it suits her just fine, especially with those shoes and matching purse... Elegance and style seem to come very naturally to her.

It's 8.02.

And yes, it's weird that she had worn that dress so many times, I guess she likes the dress... Tongue

Man she is so hot in that dress.

And I agree about the haircut, she didn't look good with it so short.

She's so hot period!Wink

She would be the right age to play Liz Carlyle, the MI5 Officer of Stella Rimington's novels, if a TV Movie version was to be made of the books. Something similar to the "Prime Suspect" series with Helen Mirren, in a 2-hour format for TV... Just an idea...
