RE: Series 10 Filming & Behind the Scenes
There are a fair number of tweets about which indicate that filming has started today in London.

One of the actors tweeting appears to be someone called Russell Balogh. It sounds like a bit part though, rather than a main character.

Ooooh, the excitement mounts! Thanks TL. Time to brush up your "shoulder acting" and hit the tube stations. Wink

He looks like a strapping lad. Out of curiosity, do the leads ever tweet anything? Am I correct in thinking that it is the bit parts that usually leak info?

My shoulder has it's own Agent now A Cousin Wink

I don't think any of the lead stars have a twitter account. Wasn't it Max Brown that tweeted something last year and let the cat out of the bag, but was quickly removed? Sam Vincent has also tweeted about filming today. An odd day to start, a Sunday? Perhaps they are behind with filming already Smile

For actors here in the US, Monday is their day off. As long as any given actor does not work in excess of a certain amount of time per day (8 hours with breaks) or per work week (40 hours), you can use them whenever and however you want. I would not be surprised if it works the same in the UK.

And also, it's probably easier to shoot some of the outdoor scenes on Sundays when the city is less busy?

Haha, TL, are you going to be out every lunch break trying to spot filming?

Rupert Penry-Jones recently commented on filming Silk that they tend to do a lot of filming on a Sunday around London buildings and landmarks because no one is working there so they may have been some of those typical walking/talking scenes with obvious bits of London in the background.

A lot of stuff is done on a Sunday due to the fact it's often easier to get into places and there are no city workers about
