I don't think the cats have died - I wonder if they mention them at all in this series, lol.

I haven't seen Harry's diary, have I missed an episodeHuh

No, it's a book published by Kudos to go alongside Spooks Smile Sorry for any confusion.

DANNY - Placements all over the shop. Back up vehicles, chopper support if we need it. Bomb disposal with a signal jammer for Mary’s trademark remote control blasts. And Tom here’s doing the catering. Mate. You are so covered.

You weren't kidding about getting up early then? lol.

If you want to buy the book, I would ask of you to wait until I have setup the Amazon Store on this site, then when you buy it, a little something will be paid to Spooks Forum. Big Grin

Ha ha. Yes that's true. He was like a bear with a sore head and I dont think he was thinking straight either. It would have been good though to see the HS tear a few strips off Harry when those photos of Jo came out !!

Ooh, the HS yelling at Harry - that would've been fun! Now I'm sad we didn't get to see something like that.

On Ruth and Harry, I thought it was telling that when Jo told Ruth about allowing the slimeball Tazbek to murder people in the UK, Ruth didn't want to believe that Harry would be okay with something like that. Even though she hated his guts at that stage, she still believes he is an honourable man. There's hope for them yet.

Oh Harry meeting the Tazbeks was hilarious! But it did clearly show how much he does depend on Ruth well - without her he isn't the most tactfull person in the world.

Of course I get up early just to speak to you :-D

RE: Episode 2 Discussion
I said earlier in this thread how excited I am about the Home Secretary's ramped up role this season. I've always enjoyed that they never paint Blake as either saint nor sinner. They like him to be in the right sometimes, and sometimes not.
Spoiler: show
Judging by next week's promo, that looks set to continue.

Ruth's back on the Grid in just a few days! I'm sure there will be rejoicing all round at that event. Won't it be wonderful to see them working together again?

RE: Episode 2 Discussion
Yes, but has Harry had to sell his soul to the HS to get the charges dropped against Ruth and also so
Spoiler: show
he isnt disciplined for identifying the wrong body?
Surely the JIC chairman (do we have one now) would have to know about this or how else could you explain Ruth's appearance back on the Grid when the JIC chairman next visits Harry? I miss a good JIC chairman/woman.

RE: Episode 2 Discussion
Richard Dalby's the JIC chairman.

As to Harry not selling his soul, let's not forget the Home Secretary's major screw ups in season 6, specifically the bombing of the train in Tehran and sending Davy King after them. He has enough of a conscience, and enough regard for Harry, that it might linger in the Home Secretary's mind but I don't think he'd blow Harry's career up over it. If he does make the wrong calls after Harry has confided in him about Ruth, I think they'll be politically motivated not personally. He really does have great regard for him personally.
