She really came into her own and started was prepared to argue some of the finer details of difficult issues - for example, she sticks it to Adam in that very moving monologue she has in 6.10 about men raping women that they also torture.

I've popped spoiler warnings on this thread as it's easier to discuss Jo freely given that she's no longer part of the main cast.

As you guys probably already figured out, Jo is my favourite character. She is soo.. believable in her role at the end of season 6. There I was actually feeling petrified with what had or will happen to her. Great writing. Her death wasn't so great though.

RE: [spoilers] Jo
I also love Jo at the end of season 6, that magnificent scene she shares with Adam and Boscod. I actually think Jo's best storylines were mostly in season 6, with maybe the exception of 8.2. Jo was also one of the few things about season 6 that I did really enjoy, her character being fleshed out with good narratives.

RE: [spoilers] Jo
I find Miranda Raison approached the role with great humility, and her playing Jo's character features the same quiet efficiency. Low profile, high performance. For the character as well as the actress playing the character.
And I can only agree with Nitrus. She's is a jewel.Thud

And she's very cool.

RE: [spoilers] Jo
MR was interviewed on BBC 4 as well, about her career and the Anne Boleyn production.
She has a very nice voice.
